Just when I thought it was safe to go back on Facebook…. Some guy told me this week that men are better than women at art, cooking, engineering, architecture, and sports. But he says it’s good for women to have “their own space” where they can dabble in such interests without getting in the way of the men. His proof that women are inferior is that men still dominate these professional fields, even though discrimination and has ended and the playing field is now level. What planet is he living on?

I’m glad to hear that there are some people who think this way about women and their supposed lack of skills in professional fields. It’s important to remember that there are plenty of talented women out there and it’s great to see that they are being recognized and given the opportunity to share their knowledge and skills.
