I guess I’ve mentioned that I’ve been doing a lot of genealogy research, and have added so much to my family tree. So for Throwback Thursday, and for Veteran’s Day, I’m posting a photo of my grandfather’s army unit in World War II. I have posted this photo before, but it’s worth another look. My grandfather, Bartholomew Petrini, Sr., was drafted despite being 37 years old and the sole support of a wife and two small children.
