I mentioned a few days ago that we spent a long weekend at an isolated cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
I have hundreds of photos and will not bombard you with all of them at once. (You’re welcome.)
I already posted a shot of the interior of the cabin, and one of the view from Spy Rock, the destination of our Sunday hike on the Appalachian Trail, at nearly 4,000 feet in elevation.
I have more photos of both the house and that panoramic view. But today I’m focusing in on closeups of some of the plant and insect life we saw near the house and outside the nearby country store, and along our hikes.
