Oh, no! July is almost over, and my Camp NaNoWriMo goal is still unmet. I was doing well earlier in the month, but I fell behind in the last couple weeks, and I have not yet been able to catch up.
(NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month, in which writers try to write an entire noel in a month. The original NaNoWriMo is in November, but Camp NaNo is the “lite” version of it, when writers can aim for a lesser goal if they’d like, and July is a Camp NaNo month.)
The book I’m working on is a science-fiction novel set on Callisto, one of the moons of Jupiter. I am making progress, but very, very slowly.
Maybe I need to lower my monthly goal.
