Postcards From the World: Cat’s Holiday

I’ve been receiving a lot of Postcrossing cards lately, from all over the world. I’ve mentioned Postcrossing here before. It’s an online site with 800,000+ participants; we all send postcards to addresses randomly chosen for us from all the Postcrossers on the site. I’ve been a member since 2009 and have received more than 5,000 cards in that time. I’ve chosen this one, from Germany, to share with you today because October 29 is National Cat Day!

This sleepy cat on a yellow wall has come to me from the state of Saxony in eastern Germany. It comes from Lori, who gives very little information about herself, except that she has a daughter and a cat. But Lori seems to be a much more interesting person than her profile would indicate. I followed the link to her website, and it’s for a sword fighting school!
