Month of Letters, Day 27

Two outgoing letters today, the 27th day of February. So far I seem to have written to a lot more LetterMo participants than have written me back, so I’ll probably be inundated with replies these last few days of the month.

  • To St. Petersburg, Russia, I sent a Postcrossing card that’s a reproduction of a 1937 photo of a schoolroom for immigrant children detained at Ellis Island.
  • To the Boston, Massachusetts, area, I sent a long letter to a pen pal. This is my second LetterMo letter to her this month.

I also received two Postcrossing cards today, one from St. Petersburg (different Postcrosser, not the one I mailed to today) and one from Thailand.

Only two more LetterMo days!
